I have blocked MTV (and several other channels) for that very reason. When I'm going through the channels looking for something to watch, I don't even want to set eyes on that kind of rubbish. I didn't get any cards or flowers or chocolates for Valentine's, but hubby was home all day, and that was good enough for me. |

Well...combined, we had a nice Valentine's Day and we are working on our anniversary...went out to dinner yesterday..think maybe we should go and see an movie to kind of round out the three days as "whole"...though it's by tomarrow changing the house around for Easter, with an little St. Patricks' Day to come into play on the way there. I have an all new diet regime to deal wth now also. So I better try to journal it and get on it the next couple days, then take tests to see if it got me anywhere later this month. My grand-daughter seemed to like her parents Valentine's Day card from them, I noticed she set it up by an small vase of extra flowers I arranged yesterday from the original ones I'd gotten. It was nice they took the time to get them each cards and thier name written and "we love you" ..."your mom and dad" ...everyone works so hard these days that sometimes we need to take the time to express it as something extra special. |
