The teacher discussed his progress and showed my friend her son's exercise books. In his diary of sorts he had written (as near as damn I remember) 'When I get a bath, there is a bit of water on the floor. When mummy and daddy get a bath together there is water all over the place' My friend blushes about it to this day and her son is a grown up man with kids of his own now. |

Terry took 4 year old Solomon to the hairdressers last week and Solomon's usual hairdresser wasn't working. He looked at the other lady and said "I am not having my hair cut and that is final! I do not like that woman!". Terry has got to take him back this week - he didn't dare sit him in the chair in case he said anything else! Joe came back last week and said he was finishing school early. When I asked him why he said it was a teacher's confrontation meeting - he meant consultation! |

In his religious education classes, they told the children that a good place to start when trying to figure out what to confess, was with the Ten Commandments. So the little boy, who spent a lot of time pretending he was a grownup, got very worried that this might be a sin. So he went into the confessional for his first confession and confessed to the sin of adultery. LOL, Imagine what the priest was thinking!!

Aaron, my 9 year old, was watching a football (soccer) match on the television last night between his favourite team West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle. Albion were about to score when the Newcastle goalie caught the ball to which Aaron said "Not him again - he's always getting in the way!". Another one - when my eldest son Joe dislocated his knee a few weeks ago we arrived at my Moms with Joseph on crutches. 4 year old Solomon said "Grandma, Joseph has decorated his knee!". Joseph is learning about Jack the Ripper at school. We were discussing this at the dinner table. Referring to my friend's husband (who is a recently early retired chief superintendant of the police force) he said "I think I will ask Uncle Steven about this - you never know he may have worked on the case!" Solomon came out of the school with a picture today - he handed it over and said "A picture of you Mom". There was a big round body & a big round head so I said "Thank you dear - I know I have put on weight recently but I hope I don't look that round" He said "No Mom that's a picture of Dad - you are on the other side!" - luckily that picture was nice & slim!!!
