How about an dirty house? ...I mean I have other things to do then clean all the time...if ya understand...No, something tells me one door opening and it would go the wayside around here most likely.

That's the whole idea Shirley, it mustn't be too easy.

How about searching the dictionary for words to replace your normal swear words, then you will be armed and ready.

That's cute, Krissy. But beyond that, there are so many wonderful, expressive words to be found in the dictionary that's it really worth a try.

Hmmm. Instead of giving up something, I am thinking of "doing" something that I don't normally do, like, making eye contact and smiling at people on the train, or giving up my seat on the train, or exercising every day (maybe at the end of 40 days it'll be a habit that I can stick with!), or even trying to "catch" myself when I am having unkind thoughts about others and nipping it in the bud instead of allowing myself to dwell on it.
