Throw in their stuffed animals all around the insides. Let them watch cartoons as it's ususally early in the morning. Especialy Sesame Street. Yes. its' good for giving them something to do on an rainy day. Don't forget the sealed drink container also, they like sipping on something. From them on you can get as fancy as you want with perhaps an kiddie clock to teach them time, or books to read to them, and excerise routine, or and "search" game of some kind...just hide somethig of there's an give them an crude "picture map" to follow with an "X" on it. Make sure the shoes are off and let them climb on top of and underneath and around to get to the "X". Perferably at least crawling up and down the stairway once helps also..if not the bunk beds. I can remeber those times, now it's Little League Baseball and ATV's racing across the sand dunes...mp3's and Guitar Hero...and they tend to argue an lot more also.My son just stopped by an bit ago, with an double tanker truck and said, I'll be home sometime tomarrow...as he loaded up an pack of food and extra clothes to take with him. Huge thing, nearly goes across the whole front yard, definately past the house and our house I think is something like 50 feet long out front. I worry about him in times like these, cause I know it's most likely going to be an drive through the moutnains in the snow possibly. His old truck was an sleeper cab, but not this thing...Twas meant for day runs only for the most part. |
