Happy Belated Birthday, Jason!  Hope you enjoyed a good beer after work, and let me just say a heartfelt THANK YOU for the work you (and others in your profession) do out there on the front lines, as it were.  Your efforts and presence in our times of need are sincerely appreciated.

..yeah Richard, was discussing the latest styles with Randy one day at work...and I told him we needed something different for the guys, and he said what..I said those nice little Scottish Kilts would be nice..and he said...Pervert, you just want to look up those skirts..I knew it!!!...I said well you know, those girls out there today highly like to wear the men's boxer shorts these days instead of PJ's...so it's becoming kind of "unisex" living...maybe we should hang refillable "bubble gum" despensers off gold chains to put into little pockets on those boxer undershorts and he started laughing...now your inciting an crime wave shirley..and we laughed about it all..can' t you see some gal putting her hands into your jeans to get some bubble gum, it would be an man's "paradise" come true..lol!  One day because I was number one "cash"cashier, with the help of the assistance manager at my side doing Public relations, and helping me bag the clothes and me ringing them up and the manager keeping me in cash currancy in steps the district manager(guy who intially hired me..and his name was Richard)  who rings out my till to find out I was taking in on the average of $35 an minute during an 8 hour day...could of never done it had it not been for it being Christmas. Later on I tried my hand at groceries...there I did an $1200 stint for about four hours work. Not bad considering I was being paid some what  $8 an hour, which was above the minum wage back then.Payback for it all was really getting to name my own work hours...when that stopped, I stopped. I made $400 in three hours at Boston Market as hostess and head cashier over lunch...when I could actually get an crew together that was prepared to dish out the food qucikly and it was prepared so we could do it.  Such is work you know.. it was always an challenging "game" to me like sports are to you guys in how well I could do it...and how much money I could make, but it was rare to find circumstances that enabled me to make money like that...it generally took expereinced managers and assistant mangers that knew thier work enough to step in an be me and me them in knowing what needed to be done next to keep the ball rolling an do it automatically. I'm feelin a bit better, getting over being so"miffed" about losing my precious fish...could stand to go an get my hair done though..smiles*  got grandkids home today sleeping off an bout with sickness of some kind..seasons are changing..times I wish I was yonger, I've always wanted to run my own business. I think now an Bed an Breakfast perhaps...or the first of it's kind, an "singles" room only motel/lodge type arrangement..paid by way of yearly dues, instead of room rentals...cash back at the end of the year if you didn't ' exceed your normal allotted days. Hubby would think I've gone off my rocker to hear this being said...he's never been a part of my work life.
