That car got me in more trouble...Laughing

You'd have enjoyed the Mopar Muscle drag racing weekend I filmed near Stratford upon Avon a few years ago, Bob. By Sunday night, the king of the track was a French Dodge Challenger that ran the 1/4 mile in 9.4 secs at 140 MPH. Not bad for an early 70s Dodge.

Paul,

My best time in this Roadrunner was a 9.2 @ 142; the best run  in ANY of my old MOPARS. Reaction time was perfect, tire temp was just right, the line was plenty sticky. My buddy took it on a run and made an even 9.0. He's a MUCH better driver than I am.

I had a 1973 HEMI Challenger and a 1970 HEMI Cuda. A 1967 HEMI GTX rounded out the herd.

I did have a 1968 Charger with a 383 in it for a daily driver although all  my cars were street legal.

Thanks, Jason. I wish I still had them. If I did, I'd be a very rich man. That's about a half to three-quarters of a million in vintage MOPAR muscle these days. I was a teenage motorhead.

Cheers,

Bob

MOPAR = Chrysler MOtor PARts. Their trademark since the twenties.
