It would be of great interest for some of you to read the Kennedy family history beginning with the criminal Joe Kennedy Sr.

The Kennedy's political dynasty was bought and paid for by Joe Sr. funded by his criminal empire. And yes, Michael, the family was heavily involved in running weapons to the IRA as well as providing funding.

This scumbag couldn't do enough good to wipe the slate clean. That's like saying Hitler was a really good guy after all because he funded kindergarten and did so much good for the [German] children of Germany.

And Richard; it's not as if he righted wrongs like insider trading, jaywalking, a hit-and-run fender bender. He left the scene of an accident where someone died and his only concern was to sober up, establish an alibi, and pervert the course of justice. This was no small thing. People still talk about this today...40 years later; that's how huge the impact was.

well, I could stand to do that around the house tonight, defuse everyone..laughs*  I went an bought an 10 x10 garden shed..gets delivered next week, we have to go an pick it up...my hubby is just looking so down and out these days, he needs cheered up with his own tool shed...he will thank  me come "Father's Day.. I just know it...something he's always wanted.   Such a darn good price, I think I can re-coup my costs by selling the kids swing set also...$100 for that and it would take it down to $269 and includes the foundation kit. He has dentistry between now and then also. Foundation kit is $90 and it was included for "free".Least I've seen them has been $299 and you buy the foundation kit separately.  Mr. Kenndy did one thing with his senior "authority" that is at least worthy of giving him praise..he kept "Bush" from re-structuing our Social  Secuirty off the Stock and bonds market. AS an politican I suppose he's "one of the good ol' boys"...as many are these days. Where the booze and women flow freely there's always "corruption" of some kind...particularly with the Catholics for some reason these days.  Are they taking on someone else's problem, or are they the problem...is the question.

Honeslty I can't think of much leadership these days that is not intertwined with something corrupt...one reason why the younger kids have little respect for their elders. How can an adult drunken to the core every weekend hope to get their kids not to drink just from saying "don't do it"..isn't' going to work..kids learn by watching people they think are influencial people, and do what they do...by immitating the example...or what they think is the example.
