to make matters worse.....front headline news up here today...3/19/09...

In repsonse to a U.S, ban on it's trucks (which our truckers say they aren't fit to drive our highways mechanically and they refuse to go through our inspections..while our truckers are held accountable for their rigs.),,,Mexico is now targeting states with Democratic leaders(one of our representatives was one of them that said their trucks weren't safe) ...they slapped trariffs on 90 U.S. products..it includes 20 per cent (each) on Oregon's Christmas trees, pears, frozen potatoes, cherries, wine, and 10 per cent on onions...Mexico's retailation came from an provision supported by the Teamsters Union amd signed into an spending bill earlier this month by Pres. Obama. It concerned saving jobs for the unions. It is said that the United States could lose $80 million dollars in annual french-fry exports to Mexico, because Canadian competitor's won't have to pay the $16 million in tarriffs. A Mexican official confirmed Wednesday that they chose specific products to apply pressure to certain U. S. politicans  It is also said that they picked items that they are trying to get into the business of dealing with themselves as products...world-wide.  Mexico's actions could cost the United states another 40,000 jobs here. Keep in mind all these tariff's come from zero percent. Other products they targeted were grapes in California, home state of Democractic house speaker Nancy Pelosi, (45 per cent tariff), shampoo's and sunglasses from Obama's state of Illinois, bowling equiptment from Nevada, Harry Reid home state..U. S Senate majority leader, and items from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's home of New York...though Navas faults the teamsters for provoking Mexico and risking an trade war.

What was this Geo. Bush's last lets' go get them plan?..I still think he wanted to be an dictator, he defnately thinks like an Mexican one. That's why he was ousted also. He probably never won his last four years in office without doing it crookedly. I will think about this the next time I go shopping...I grow my own grapes also.

Have you seen the huge dangerous spider they found in an shipment of bannanas recently, now on Yahoo news, not that stuff like that hasn't happened in the past though. Glad it got contained before it could produce more of them. I have always had trouble with those dudes..spiders. Most because they creepy crawl.  I'd feel much better if they could train them to walk... LOL.
