I believe the birds know that Spring is approaching because when I leave for work in the mornings now, I am greeted by a beautiful, joyous chorus.  I found this website, www.birdsongradio.com, which I am listening to now on my computer at work.  It brings a bit of the outdoors inside my office and I find it very relaxing and soothing.  I hope you are able to access it and enjoy it too.

I love the sound of geese flying overhead as a herald of both the autumn and the spring.  I also like the sound of gulls.

I really love the sounds of the birds singing at dusk. Reminds me of when I was really little and I would have to go to bed before it got dark during the summer and I would be lulled to sleep by the birds singing!!

Diana, I love those as well!

Krissy, you and I are cut from the same cloth, apparently!  I remember the same thing from my childhood.

I remember watching a program once about birdsong, they tried to see if they produce actual tunes, so they slowed it down etc....  and i can't remember the outcome now!!

I must admit i love hearing them in the mornings! its getting lighter earlier now, and staying lighter later and they sing their little beaks off!!!Laughing

My pal Stanley in Wales shared the following website with me which is a wonderfully informative guide to birds and their distinctive songs:
