Mmmm - that's difficult for a Brit silly as it sounds - I don't know what are our words or joint words.

1. Bun (a muffin in US - can also be used here in the expression "Bun in oven" meaning pregnant! - in US I think you use Bun to describe what we call a bap or roll!)

2. Bum or Bottom (Backside!)

3. Cinema (Movie theater) - we also say "Going to the pictures" where you say "Going to the movies"

4. Flat (apartment)

5. Dummy (pacifier)

I haven't read all the pages so if I double up sorry!
