I'm close to that Diana!!! And I work in a lab too and the junk I see in the bathrooms and even in our office is disgusting!!!!!!  Just yesterday there was some strange gooey glob...a huge one...on the TIME CLOCK!!!  Right where we have to swipe our cards!!!  No one knows what it was or how it got there. I seriously felt sick!!

Dishes..even though we have an dishwasher.. when I was younger my mother made my sister and me wash dishes one night and dry dishes the next night, in the turns, my sister use to leave half the dirty dishes claiming they needed soaked, leaving most  the next night, and when I did wash those dishes, she claim they needed "air" dried ..which took me most the night doing them. My hubby knows this.. and my parents didn't get an dishwasher until after I was married and out of thier house...so he usually will do the nightly dishes, Kind of you cook, I'll do the dishes. Though if I have enough of them, I do them anyway.

I always have dirty laundry stacked to the hilt around here,(though I have an laundry shute down two stories of the outside of this house in my kid's bedroom-bathroom and have bougth enough laundry baskets to have two in every room) I wash my one load an week, my hubby washes his load once a week...and the other loads are my kids' and grandkids..they have NEVER caught up in keeping them done up. When they rented their other house, I kept hearing her say the kids were out of clothes, so I kept buying them more of them, finally one day I said, where ARE all the clothes?...I went into their basement to find them in an "stack"..I came over the next day and I washed clothes one load after the other from 8 am to 10 pm that night. Two loads an hour for 14 hours straight hours. I stopped buying them clothes. One reason why when they moved out of the house we gave the thrift shop 22 bags of clothing. I don't think my daughter in-law wants an mother in-law so much as she wants an personal "house servant" and I already grew up with an mother kind of like in ways also...with an sister who played it up disabilties to keep from doing her fair share.  But my mother DID have house servants growing up..so I guess she felt her kids to pick up where they left off maybe? That's why my cardiolgist said to "leave it" they are grown adults and it's time the grandkids started helping also...if they would pick up after themselves, my house would for the most part be clean all the time.

My hubby is really good about helping me around here, he feeds the animals and he does the garbage nightly and he washes the dishes amoung other things needed done..when he's home an dnot at scouts..and is about my only "back-up" to helping me. My daughter in-law is as "crafty" as was my sister about "making it look good" as to her being an housekeeper..and it's an good thing she works full time now, perhaps her only saving grace with me at times.

You actually do that? I haven't taken mine down in so long I am afraid they'll disintegrate if I try to wash them!  I am actually terrified of trying to put them back up.

Ironing clothes. I despise ironing and have blouses in my closet that I haven't worn in forever because I don't want to iron!
