Good grief! a ring on the fourth date? That is unheard of these days!

These days? A ring after the fourth marriage, maybe...but on the fourth date?

OK, I'm back!

Right, when Ed walked into the room, I got this whispering (from the Spirit) that he was the one I would marry. He had the same revelation, and by the end of the evening we had planned our wedding, talked about having children, and a few other things.

No, it wasn't love at first sight, I like to say that when the Lord says jump, you jump. So the Lord made it know that we were supposed to marry, so we married.

I did of course fall in love with him, it didn't take long, he is an exceptional man, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that we have only ever had one real tense moments in our relationship, and it was I who was annoyed at him.

We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year, so I personally think that the Lord picked a better husband for me than I think I ever could have on my own.

That is an amazing story Sue!  I wonder if those types of meetings are possible after a certain age? Do you think we become to jaded to hear that voice?
