there's an seed out, I think Burpee's Nursery still sells it, but you drop one down and they won't cross over it... they work too, as we have used them in the past, and the seeds grow up to produce an flower. Maybe you guys need more birds that eat them as prey over there?..must of had an rainy year. My cats do them in good here. We still have field mice though in the area, have had for 30 years, they dig up the ground for housing developements and they scatter all through the area. They put in an new school here recently so there's plenty of yard there for them,.... and they can get educated at the same time...small creeek nearby...should be happy.

I like the fact the voles were saved but why did it cost that much!!! I could have fetched them myself for 50p!

Would one of you resident English, kindly ask ( track down the article about the voles and get the facts accurate  & straight) your local Conservation Society to CONFIRM  this expenditure...I am unable to locate anything on the net. We all thank you.
