My parents fought for me to do it instead. I went on to study techical illustration at art school and although I didn't continue it as a career it has helped me with so many other things in my life. I got top grades in Maths because of my knowledge of geometry from technical drawing. In my accountancy exams I won the prize for top marks in the borough and I know the only advantage I had was the knowledge of how to present my work to look neat! |

I can get just about anywhere I want to be as a result of learning this basic mobility tool. I have a few scars resulting from challenging the limits, but I treasure being able to walk. |
