Don't like an lot of the comedy these days, it sounds like an vulgar insult then something funny about another person most the time. I like it when jokes are aimed at the "faulting" and not the person direct. Except with the name of scarlet gigglesnort..and I think because I've NEVER known her to gigglesnort at all.(What's gigglesnorting?) ..but there were two "rednecks" that use to be pretty heavy on the insult type comedy... and Don Rickles was never an favorite of mine either. I guess it was the way he presented it perhaps also. I think why "I Love Lucy" went over so big, it was her comedy about things not people... that people liked. We all have days of tackling something that doesn't go right. |
