Bob, you're such a kidder!  I'm sure you were the perfect Innocent.

I was.....

No, I did a lot of the stupid things that kids do too - skip school, smoke, lie, shoplift, etc.  But I never got caught, so does that mean I never got into trouble?  Tongue out

1)I got caught dipping Skoal, (pieces stuck in my teeth) we got smarter and my Aunt Freda bought us Skoal Bandidts.
2)I was around 7 or 8 and my cousin talked me into stealing $0.10 breath mints, she ook one and I took one. I told her it was wrong and we'd get caught, she said, "no we won't." and yes, we got caught. we threw the evidence under the car, cause I knew mom wouldn't look there, idiot me, I didn't think about the minty smell. Mom, immedialtely after getting in the car, said "Jeannie! What's that smell!!" I panicked and ratted. I got whooped with the belt, my cousin got the switch.
3)My (same) cousin and I, my (real) grandma caught us smoking hay in the pig shoot. my uncles counted their cigerette's so we tried smoking hay. We only got about 3 puffs off of it, and got caught, we knew my uncles whooped hard, we were petrafied. Grandma to my knowledge never told on us.
4) my last spankin' I was, are you ready? 25 years old. I lied to my mom, and she caught me, I had moved back home, it was her and my (step) dad's rules, and I broke one- lieing. She was/is still my momma, and I respect her, and she whooped me.
My momma's phrase."Don't'ch'you ever think you aint to big for this momma to still whoop you, you are still my daughter, and I'm still your momma!!!!"."You will abide by my rules while you still live in my house!!!" I am 37 now, 2 kids, and I still most of the time still listen to my momma, cause she's still my momma.
I caught myself saying this phrase to my daughter, I stopped in my tracks and grinned, and then finshed lecturing her. lols Jeannie
