Diana it's quite a few miles away from me. Michael I hope it was just a tickle!

We had a quake here, I think it was last year, the tower which Radio City use swayed Surprised The DJ at the time was a wee bit worried! As I would have been. I'd have vacated the building sharpish!

Debbie, they are rare! It's why we go Surprised There have been only one or two mini tornadoes in many years. Thank goodness! My friend in Oklahoma has to hide from hers. She also has a room in the middle of the house with no glass in it, for obvious reasons.

What happened to the storm cellars of long ago?... building  houses with yards to little to house them, or playing Russian Roulette that one will never hit them?As an kid back in the mid-west for an short time, I remember basements and outside cellar pantry type things for such weather. May they have good luck on both issues.

Hi Shirley ,yes some of the older homes around here do still have the old cellars but now like my brother he has what is called this large "egg" that you plant in the ground and the door if the only thing you can see and it has setting inside for several ppl pretty neat we have had to use it a few times.
