Mobile phones. Everywhere you look, someone has one stuck to their ear. And the constant wring tones going off. I have one that is always turned off unless I need to make an emergency call, then off it goes again. I think everyone forgot that I have a mobile phone now. Thank the lord.

Yep-reality tv could go today as far as I'm concerned!  And any show that seeks to humiliate people just to boost ratings!!  So, I wouldn't ban TV entirely, just that sort of rubbishLaughing

The telephone system where you have a choice of numbers, then another choice and yet another, before you are then in a queue, I would rather speak to someone direct and have them put me throught to the correct department

That's a good thought, hmm not sure how you'd rinse, a second shower with just water? My mom bought us some clogs with soft fuzzy cloth in them, they keep your feet warm, but they are summer shoes, and they are to hot to wear in the summer. they sorry, well started smelling, I washed them, took nearly 7-8 days to dry. I worry about wearing them again, they still are sitting in the window seal, where I left them to dry. that was 3 weeks ago.I really feel they were pointless to make, you can't wear them in the summer, you can't wear them in winter, you can't wear them when it rains, pointless.

... just bought me some Dr. Scholl's tennis shoes..running type, they have the built in "Gellin" stuff, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for being brand new, I feel like I'm standing  on an rubber mat where ever I go. They weren't any more expensive then most regular tennis shoes either..all white, and have tiny air holes for air to the feet. Got them at an sporting goods store.

that's nice to know Peter, as I do that also and it drives my family crazy that I'm not plugged into an cell phone all day long, but I use mine for emergencies only or for private numbers I don't want released on our house phone. (such as instant access to my doctor..not just his clinic). I prefer most people call my house phone, because it has an messenger on it. I don't have that on my cell phone. Or if I do, don't use it.
