If you could travel back in time, what century/era/country would you choose and why?

I'd love to go back to the Tudor days. I'd like to take a walk past the Tudor buildings which I have taken photographs of around this country. I'd like to meet the people that lived in them. (Probably have to wear a peg on my nose though! loI). I would just like to experience how they lived. I would love to be dressed up in the typical Tudor clothing.

Oh I would love to!! I like the attitude of the era as well!! The support of the troops during the war both here and in the UK!  And what the English had to endure was incredible and did it with such strength!!

I am fascinated with time travel. I love time travel programmes and films - especially Peggy Sue Got Married - so I would have to pick the 50's. I was made to be a 50's girl and I love the music.

I would definitely travel back to the 1960s.  It was an era of change, music was diversifying and there were all sorts of medical and scientific discoveries being made. It was an exhilarating time to be a teenager then!  The fashions were great-from mini skirts to hippy styles (well for us girlies anyway!!) and bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks and The Who were totally different to the music of the previous decade.  Then Progressive Rock and concept albums began.  Oh I could go on and on about the 60s-beam me up Scottie-take me back there right now please!! LOLLaughing
