I don't know what a Scouser is either you have me courious.
Most people, I guess, don't like me cause I'm very honest, a strong christian woman, I don't take crap from men anymore, (my last ex-fiance was a horrible alcoholic) this has made me stronger, I get on to my kids in public, I talk to much, it sometimes takes me a while to get to the point, I don't have good comman sense sometimes, And I snore extremely loud.I don't know if it hereditary, my dad was extremely loud, and so was my grandma. My Grandpa, refused to sleep in the same room with her. They were opposites in everything. I didn't get to stay the night at very many friends house because of it. I pray Paul can put up with me, in the future.lols Jeannie

A scouser is usualy refered to as a person from Liverpool, Babs will explain no doubt but i think its taken from the word Scouse which is a food recipe , I think its a stew or something that is served in Liverpool.

I was told as a child that scouse comes from Lobscouse a dish from Northern Germany that became a favourite in Liverpool. Scouse has meat and Blind Scouse is a stew minus meat. Anyway we soon became known as Scousers or Wackers but that has faded away & I have no idea where it came from. Sorry to go off topic but thought it might help some of our members from the U.S.

Explain why some people don't get along with you:

Probably because people who think they know everything make it extremely difficult for those of us who really do.

***Aside from the topic***

I am actually a 'plastic Scouser' Tongue out as I don't have any Liverpool blood running through my veins! I was born and bred here though. I know on another thread I've explained that I'm mostly Welsh, partly Yorkshire and partly Cumbrian. Though listening to my accent, you wouldn't know this! Laughing

Rod is correct about the Lobscouse dish (according to historians). Unfortunately, the term Scouser is used negetivly, usually used by people who have neve even visited our fair city. Ignorance is bliss I suppose! Wink It's a bit difficult for non Brits to understand, but let's just say the media is a lot to blame!

Thank you for listening!

OK, I have enough psychic abilities that I know instintively what many are thinking.. and ever so once in an while I'll call them on it, ...and that they don't like at all. No..I'm not "nuts"... and you don't have to watch yourself when your around me unless your being extremely mean...I feel all that happens there  is generally an purpose for it...even if it's not understood at the time.  Other then that, I can't say I've had to many problems. If your mean, I most often simply hand it back to you in so many words..with that "Mood Alert" is an an number 8 for the next two days, 10 being the higest out of sorts..and Mercury just went retrograde. I am an gemini...whom is ruled by Mercury. It deals with communications, the public, knowledge, etc. I can be good also, because some of us appear very "flighty" and an bit "stir crazy" at times, and it should lessen it.
