Thank you Babs, Debbie and Stephanie. Smile

Steph! Poor Solomon; what an awful thing to dream. I've had dreams like that about people, but I've never told the person I had the dream about. It's just too weird and it would make you uncomfortable wouldn't it?

Diana, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Must be very hard on her husband. My sympathies to both of you and prayers along the way.

cath, i've just been browsing and I noticed there are some pictures of a town named Todmordon on this sit. if you havnt already seen them, this is the next town to Littleborough, I remember having connections there? its a lovely little place in summer (May/june etc) when all the 'greenery is frsh, and a picture postcard canal winding its way trough. it used to be a milltown but that all finished with the decline of the cotton trade in the 60's.

Wow! The president called a meeting today and announced a company wide salary reduction of 10% for all staff; this in lieu of letting any more people go.

I think all of us are a bit stunned though grateful to still have jobs. Times are tough all around I guess.

I just came in an second time and never had to give an password...hum..in fact I didnt' even see where to post it, but it's been an strange day all around today. I heard they fired up HARRP today also. You know first it's your older family and friends and then it becomes an range of all ages as to people headed on as is called "the other side"....you think when its someone older..well, they lived an good life, or now they are out of pain, but when it's the teenagers and those under 30 you really think about things.  My condolences Diana...my computer is acting up today really badly also, if I'm not in here an bit may because of that, I understand its with Comcast down the whole west coast for some reason, some of course say imminet earthquake about to happen down there, but I wished they'd give the Lord better credit then they do. As to prayers..yes, I say them, but he walks with me daily also, but I am more like Jesus said to be in "affiming" the healing is already taking place simply by acknowleding there was an probelm to begin with. Remeber when he said to beleive it's already happened just at it's very thought...with the healing. For that reason I don't say to many lengthy prayers as there are an lot of people out there needing help these days, but don't ever think I don't want what is good for you...or don't care perhaps, if I'm not into long prayers,.... we use to have an payer candle web site and I think we still do over in earthboppin, where you can go pick out on unlit candle on the net, say your prayer and leave your name or initials. The candle burns for 24 hours or so. then you can do it again. We found it worked out better then 20 people constantly giving their best in healing thoughts to others when there are so many people to do them for these days...it really uses up web space. The person comes in an says.."say an prayer for me"..and that's one place we can. I could of used one myself this morning, first really hard leg cramp in an long while and it hit me good. It's taken me half this morning just to beable to walk, and my excerise class was "nitch" so as to say. I am an bit leary about their propasal in this dieting, it makes sense, but doing as asked I gained the 3 pounds in less then two days following it... this is an off diet several weeks to ramp up the metabolism and then diet several weeks then an another phase in-between..so you have something like 1200 calories (7 days), 1500  (23 days) and then 2000 calories 2 to 4 weeks ..or weight gain of three pounds. They say its been proven that this phase is what kicks in your metabolism. I don't know, I was on about 800 calories in order to lose anything prior...then you have the machines 3 X weekly and suppose to walk 30 mins an day..and it's hard with this kind of rain going on constantly. You also have to drink 8 glasses of water an day.  The water I think is what did my leg cramp for me. but I'm not giving up and going to try to do my best. I keep looking for that one thing after 61 years that really truly "works"...if you understand. So I'm not "yo-yoing" as they call it. On and off dieting. I'll see if I can read your posts but I never got in here at all this morning, and just an bit ago, it was really hard. then when I did, as I said, I didn't have to give my password. so will catch you all a bit later on perhaps. If I don't come in an your ever wondering what's up you might try "earthboppin" for one site I go to...but I'm not leaving you yet, I still have my little goal of changing my avatar again. She snapped three different pictures of me the other day and they were worse then what is already here with my eyes closed! Someday.....someday I'm going to have an decent picture posted in here!

Hey Shirley,, you sound like me dieting well if you find something that works let me know,,,,I did do a diet years ago where you ate like 900 cal a day than on the weekend you could splurge and eat more and that would trick your metabolism and speed it up it did seem to work for a while i just could not do it forever!!  The one thing that i have found that does work is eating 6 times a day small portions and that has helped me i just have to find more time to exercise and i think i can get it off.. Good luck to you and be carefull!!;-)))

O and i am also having weird things going on the site,,,when i sign on it does not show all the recent threads like it use to  ----humm strang computers sometimes i guess???? hope you have a wonderful night!!
