A million; yes I guess I would she replies. How about £100,000 he then asks? Well, he's not bad looking so for £100,000, yes she says; probably would. So, he asks her, how about for £100????? A £100 !!!!!! she screams. What sort of woman do you think I am????? We've already established that, he replies. Now we're just discussing your price.

David came in, leaving himself, and took one look and asked me what I was doing there, and I said trying to get them to accept their own check in payment..he looked at the teller and said, I've known her since she was an kid"... cash the check! They did it no time while we talked a bit, he too was leaving and having worked his way up to bank manager of out-laying branches and the into the tower downtown, I knew if he was leaving, something was wrong..this has got to been 15 years ago this has happened. Because I knew most his original bosses from around here also, and they too had left "banking"I suspected something was wrong back then...he had in 20 years then. I got an e-mail today from POE asking for funding...What is f 25 English in American money, anyone know, I tried to find an conversion table on line and all I found was this stupid, questions answered for $$$. It much reminded me of the stupid way Bank of Ameirca operates to me...and always has in ways. For people whom are so desparate for money they sent me an email also, if I'll answer such and such questionarire, they 'll put $50 in my account..I have NEVER had an account with Bank of America. So this is how they spend American tax dollars for given bail-out money...bad choice..very bad choices. I'm glad David left his job...he seems to know what he was doing back then. How many of you other Ameircians know your tax dolalrs your expected to support these bail-outs on ..is going back to the banks own customers? Esp for something as dumb as your opinion on something... that alone is wasted dollars spent. Almost as bad an going out of country to do business in land specualtion when they know other countries tell us we have no "ties" to the land ownership unless we are national citizens of the country...subject to Goverment coups and what not else. anyway, I've always wondered how much the web sites cost to maintain them, and if I can ever find an conversion to it, maybe I'll know. Last I read, this web site had total 12,000 people in it.When Renee Mueller had "Spirit-web" which was world-wide also, she told me that she could basically only count on an handful of people to help her keep it going most the time in funding. I think whomever developed the "net" should of taken in the fact of costs when times get economically poor for everyone. Because without the webmasters, there is no "internet". Without the people, there is no "web site" either. They do good to help themselves when they help others in computer-land. Perhaps we should do like coasttocoast and have our own monhly magazine people can subscript to for supporting this web site. Surely we as memebers can summit articles and pcitures and poetry and anything else we can think of to keep it going monthly. |
