The first thing that comes to mind involves a celebrity believe it or not.  When I lived in Los Angeles I worked only a couple of blocks away from the Music Center where the "Phantom of the Opera" was playing.  Early one morning on my way to work I saw Michael Crawford walking down the street towards the center. He stopped and sat down next to a homeless man and I got the feeling by the way that they were with each other that this was a daily ritual for them. He handed the man a bag which I quickly realized contained food. He sat with the man and talked for a couple of minutes before getting up and going on his way.

I might add that it was very early in the morning and the street was pretty much vacant. I saw him do the same thing on a couple of other occasions over the next year or so that he played that venue.

Hmmm.. well, my life has been saved by 4 diffeent people, not sure if this counts, but
1, my daughter, when I fell asleep at the wheel after driving 2 days straight, with no sleep, (when I was forced to drive to Georgia)
2, weirdly, my ex-boyfriend, whenwe were in a panick over a tornado, I was pregnant with my daughter, had he not caught me, I would've possibly killed my unborn baby.
3 My daughter's daddy, I went to step out on the curb, and he slapped me right across my top, but I didn't get it, He was inches away from hitting us.
4 I fell asleep at the wheel, from lack of sleep, working late hours and still trying to adjust, had the man not honked his horn I would've hit him.

If not this comes to mind: When we had our wreck, most of the whole congregation from our church just all happened to be driving by at nearly the same time, none of us knowing we were all that close in traveling distance, all at the exact same time. When we had the wreck, most of our helpers were our regular church people. They all helped us out during the wreck. One of our teachers at my kids school, received a plaque, on Veterans Day, from the soldiers whom the school helped gather supplies for.She was in tears I thought this was very sweet.
