Either a liesurely sail around the world over a period of years, or (preferrably) a race around the world like the Volvo Ocean Race. Or, I'd even settle for the Sydney to Hobart race. Now THAT would be exciting!

I haven't got anything left I really feel I want to do before I die. That doesn't mean I'm ready though!

As a young person I had a crazy life and if I wanted to do something I went and did it!

You all sound interesting..and jeannie has an lot of the things I'd like to do in her post...I love to travel also. I feel fortunate to have been able to do what little I have so far...I am still missing Alaska, the great Southwestern USA. and Hawaii..though I feel like I've been to Hawaii several times already from watching hours upon hours of movies other people have made, I usually simply say..bring me back an real flower " Lei" if possible...and I've gotten an couple of them so far.. I like that rental vacation  house over there called "the onion house". It's so expenisve though it would take at least four couples to rent it to be moderately priced to stay there. It would hold them though. I first saw about it on the travel channel or Hgtv perhaps. Soooo...No one wants to ride an Humpy-back camel?...like Ahab the "a"rab?...or swing through the jungle like "Tarzan"? (watch out for that tree!)...How about the " Little Yellow submarine" bob?...see the Great Barrier Reef..... Wonder if the Beattles ever did such. Lots of things yet to do in an person' s life....even going to England and seeing the Castle's...gardens, and having "high tea" somewhere...what months are your best weather?  AS for the "other side" have near been there several times already, I'm not in an hurry, but its truly "paradise". also.

Circumnavigation means to 'go around the world, ie fly, sail or whatever, circum as in circumference and navigate 'to find your way around'

Shirley the best months are probably June to September, but here in good old England you can't trust the weather for more than 10 minutes at a time! So don't forget your umbrella! LOL

Shirley, it's cold and wet in the UK, wet it is here in Liverpool anyway! The Beatle's yellow Submerine is quite appropriate!
