I have all kinds of music, wish I knew where some of it was at. the last one I received was last summer, my nephew made an album, his mother is an "Preacher" and they formed an group in the church, it wasn't to bad at all. He did back up singing mostly. It was an fund raiser type of thing I guess. I have both the ones that Ruth mentioned also. |

I enjoy listening to Conway Twitty, Hank Williams Jr., John Anderson, and alot of the older ones, as well as some of the new ones like Josh Turner. I love Gospel music. But, Patsy Cline is whom I would pick over all. I like Luther Vandross (Here And Now) & (Endless Love), Maroon 5, (This Love). Elivis Presley (Love me Tender), Alabama (Lady Down On Love) The gospel song: I Can Only Imagine, It Was Me, Shout To The Lord, I Got Here As Fast As I Could. I would like to make a small comment, and I will try my hardest to say it in a proper way. I tried really hard not to be offended by what was said about country music. I realized that I was probably not understanding those of you very clearly. I do agree some country singers do add a twang and sing through there noses,(Reba McEntire-sometimes) to sound more country like, which is sad. Unfortunetly, (myself) some of us can't help by how we sound. I slip sometimes, and my country-ness just comes out. I try very hard sometimes to speak properly, and not so southern like. Believe it or not it is difficult at times. If at times while I am in POE, if I offend anyone by my country slang, Than I will try to correct this. I know that you were not trying to single anyone person out. However, I am assuming that you were specifically, meaning country singers. But for the other country bunch out there, like myself, I can speak properly, it is just easier for me to talk and express myself somewhat the way I was raised, and brought up. I found out over the weekend, while at a family get together, my great grandpa was somewhat famous from the town of Jasper,Ark. and I am 1/8th Cherokee instead of 1/16th. I pray I have not hurt anyones feelings, if I have please forgive me. |

And Jeannie, quit worrying over what people think about how you speak, just be yourself and stop saying sorry! |
