I loved cross country skiing before I had my accident and bummed up my leg. The air was so pristine clean and the "walking" was nice..easier on ski's. I've been on some really nice "hikes" also and other activites with the Scouts. Use to enjoy dancing also.. but my hubby is lousy at keeping an beat and dancing. Don't care to see me dancing with others either.  I've enjoyed going to the beach and going crabby/clamming also, looking in tide pools. There use to be my "Friday night" how hot can you go..with eating Taco's. I enjoy theater and movies...seeing entertainment in general.  Mini golf..first time I went.. they said when I asked "what do you do?".. was told "Hit the ball" so I whacked it.. they were laughing their head off at me, cause it went half way across the whole court, but I didn't know back then what "mini-golf" was. I've lived an sheltered life of budgets never big enough  and taking care of households and kids. but I have managed to do some traveling anyway. Would like to do more. God has an awesome creation out there that don't cost an thing. I have yet to go "Gem" hunting...Gold panning..fossil picking. Haven't gotten into much fishing as of late either. My son unfortunately introduced me to ATV'ing at an time I had an light case of very painful "gout" and has never asked me back to try it again...I think he thinks I didn't like it...but not so. We use to have our own swimming pool here, an small one but it took up most the whole back yard..we gave it up for our ski boat. I doubt I know swimming enough to save my life though. See I need to have an longer life with good health to do some of these things.

Hey everyone! First let me welcome our new member, Jacqui Julyan, nice to meet you. Ok lets see here. I took notes: Let me first say, I am not trying to take over, and be anyones mom by any means, however I do offer you my help if you want it.Debbie, Baking and math. If you you need help, I love to do both, I passed college algerbra, with a "B". I bought some books, and I am fixin' to try to study Geometry, and Modern Trigonometry, by myself. Jacqui, I think I will let the pro's do the skiing. Snow and water skiing. Krissy: Belly dancing, sorry sweetie, can't help you there. And everyone: As far as spelling, I cheat and use a dictionary at my computer table all the time. Chili 5: Well, Skipping rope I can do, not sure if I could teach it though? Riding a bike. Hmm... Start with training wheels? I'm not sure there either, I was a late bloomer on the bike as well, you are not alone. Don't feel bad though, my dad relearned at age 50, or so.They grew up to poor to own bikes. Jason: as far as singing, I think I sound pretty good, I can hit high notes as well as low notes, everyone at church claps, but that doesn't mean it's good? That would be for all of you to judge if you could hear me. No one(man) is with me now, so I can, and will sing in my house, and no one can tell me not to sing, my gospel songs. I sang today, and it felt wonderful, to not hear "stop singing","I can't hear the t.v." "Pleas, shut-up singing, as I'd start to cry, he would then realize it was me. And, most of the time, not say he was sorry. I can sing now. I smile as I say this now. Peter: I tried to fly when I was younger, in my dream I did fantastic. Reality. I fell and hit my head on the bottom step- a huge rock. My mom sometimes jokes and says ,"Oh, that explains, why you are slow." Then says she's just playing. Jason, I love the cat picture, I showed it to my daughter, she grinned, I busted up laughing. What trouble are you having with ironing, Just wondering if maybe I might could help? If not, that's ok. I'm not trying to be Mrs's fix it or nothing, I'm just used to trying to help. Ray: as far as Golf, I kept hitting the stupid ground. I play golf on my computer games, it's kind of fun. I love miniture golf. To those who are having truouble swimming: do you know how to float on your back and swim? My mom taught me this, cause she can't swim real good either. I can enough to save myself, not sure if I could save anyone else. I tried to help my friend once as she got real scared and went over her head, she panicked, and seriously, nearly drowned me, trying to save herself. She kept dunking me under. I couldn't catch my breath fast enough each time I came up to get air. She, praise the Lord, touched the ground and let go of me. Quiet scary it was. Pleas forgive me for this being so long, I am just trying to catch up with everyone in here. I'm not trying to be a know-it-all. Cause I'm not. Just merely trying to help in fields that I know some about. I hope and pray I have not offended anyone.
Rick, and Babs, and any others wondering about Art? I took 2 classes of art in High School. I was going to in college. The art pad (for drawing) was $100.00. way above my budget. That was just the pad. I love to draw. Sometimes, I just can't get it right. I want to rip it up into a thousand little pieces. I once drew a unicorn from a book-mark onto a piece of notebook paper, then drew it larger onto a large piece of cardboard about. 2 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet. or so. I ran out of collored chaulk, and oddly used my eyeshadow, and it worked. Sometime I will post the picture on here, if anyone would like. I lost the picture, when I lost 4 generations of my stuff. that's another story. I'm no master of art, but if you have any question's I'll do my best to answer. If I don't know, I'll hunt and study to help find an answer for you. Sometimes, I can just look at something, and draw it. I was once at my grandma's when I was younger, I drew her ash tray. It was a bear trying to reach a fish in a puddle of water. My daughter, I pray becomes an Artist, she is that good. I am so very proud of her. She has drew things I could never get right if I tried. Every Christmas I buy her & my son all the art supply's for there age I can afford. Cause we have a blast with it all year round.

I did the long post, Pleas eforgive me as I love to talk. I rechecked first this time to make sure I was logged in. As far as things I can't get right, is the following:

1)Fried Chicken, I can bake it, boil it, can't get frying right, I am not going to quit practicing though.2) Fried Bacon. I am getting better at it though, but still practicing it. 3) Weed eat. I've had my 2nd ex-husband take it away from me, As he laughed, I laughed to though. A friend of ours took it away from me too. He was younger than me. I leave this job to anyone else but me. I'll pull weeds though. I keep hitting the ground, more than I cut grass with it. Give me the push mower, you weed eat & we'll be a team. 4)Golf. I thought I was doing pretty ok, the guy I was dating and whom was showing me, said I wasn't very good. So?? Not sure. 5)Play regular basketball, but, I can shoot hoops, for fun, and make it most of the time. 6)Holding onto money, for long periods of time. Mom says I get money, and just go stupid. I think it's because, I have waited so long for it to come my way, I have an endless list nearly of things I need to get, and sometimes want to get. I have always wanted a house warming party. I know many people that have gotten them. Course, in the past I have moved alot. But I've been here for in June it will be 1 yr. 10 months. Funny as this seems maybe, I have an ironing board, no iron.. It's on the agenda. Gobs of material, no sewing machine, so i sew all by hand. Now that so-in-so is gone, I can start saving money again. And I don't have to hide it. He wiould steal it from me. The kids and I both hid our money. And sadly the cough syrup, and mouth wash to.7) I can't do a cart-wheel, I did one as my cousin was teaching me, I did it, and was so excited, I never got it right again. I can prodly say I got 1 cart wheel in. 8) being quiet, and not talking.......and I've talke denough.....later gator.
