That's nice to know Sue...one of the gals I talk to in another web ste has her pastor clear across the country sending me announcements as to their church actvities, he was surprised when I told him I lived clear over on the other side of the country..he's .in North Carolina, while I live in Oregon, but I told him if I was ever in the area, I'd stop by and say "howdy" to him. He is shirtail kin ot hers an got into her "group" sending off e-mail news amoung the family and friends present on thier mail list.  She had recently mentioned this old church built in the 1800's because "bees" took residence in the tower and went down the side in the walls. So it was defienatly an place of the lord... and "honey" Yep, things were really "humming" there on Sundays.

Princeton was founded by my mother's family, maternal side in generations back. We have an gal re-writing our history for us, but its the truth and I'll reveal how I know that when she's done "spounting" whatever it is she's up to doing. In the meantimes she's doing some clever little things in trying her power control moves.,,including just leaving the site so she can't be disputed with or asked any questions. Her siter got on an dsaid she went back to her "hospital"..I wonder in which way, as an patient perhaps?

Hello all!

Looking forward to your new pictures, Peter.

My talk went really well, must be thanks to your good wishes. Still, I'm awfully glad it's over and done with (until the next time).

I'm having a day off today, play time   .

Hi Sue! Laughing I am glad your talk went well. What topic did you speak on? Do you get to chose or is it chosen for you?

We have a lay ministry in our church, so we all do a bit to keep it running. We are called to different positions throughout our church life. Right now I am the compassionate service leader, taking care of peoples needs,

The topic of my talk was how our callings draw us closer to the Lord.  Lots of people came up afterwards and commented, including some people traveling through on vacation, so that made me feel good.

And the topic is chosen for us.

In the church I grew up in the women gave 5 minute "talks" on stage. The topics were assigned and we did it on average once a month. But the church taught that a woman should never teach a man directly so we were assigned "householders" who were other women, and we would talk to her instead of addressing the audience directly.
