My advice is just be content and live the moment, you can dream, but if your dream turns to reality, it is no longer a dream. still keep coming to visit us in England though! lol |

As long as I get some veggies out my of garden this summer is all I hope for right now, I wish I could have an surplus though, it's been an long time since I've had an garden like in the old times, where we had so many zuchinni squash and tomatoes we left them on the curb side for free. I still have not sealed the 6 foot picnic table I bought the other day, me thinks I better "get on it real soon" though. We went with the kids to Rooster Rock State Park, see how they were doing, there was about 100 boats there including one looked like Bob's in full sail, then we went to Blue Lake where on Government Island, across from it, everyone and their tent arrived for July 4th fireworks tomarrow night...only access to it is by boat. On the way an abulance and emergency vehicles were headed to Blue Lake for an rescue. The Sandy River was body to body also today, but they patrol it. We all decided to sleep in the living room tonight again, and I wore my light weight granny gown, no sexy stuff around the little kids, I'm taking an "sweat bath" in the thing tonight. So I'm up drinking cranberry juice with no added sugar. Hoping when I go to bed, its cooler. It's almost 12 mid-night right now. Yeah, sticky and clammy would be good words to describe me. I only like dreamin if I have good dreams. I've had OBE episodes that were pretty "Hair-raising" in the past. I said my prayers and I asked God, to not take me there unless I can do something to stop what's going on beforehand. He seems to have compiled pretty much. Well, off to bed, take my plls and head in as I'm tired. I get up early and don't sleep until late and I get so darn tired! ZZZzzz. |

I am a Winter bod. I love winter!! give me the wind the rain the storms.Would love to do storm chasing as I see on the Discovery Channel. Love the cool days and some grey skies - Also really like Autumn and Spring. You can keep the hot summer days. We have enough here in SA. |

We Yanks do our fair share as well. I've been trying really hard lately to stop and think before I complain about the current weather, whatever season we're in, because I realize that I can find fault with every season. I can tell you though that I definitely do not like the hot and sticky, insect-ridden side of summer. I grew up in Alabama so one would think I'd have gotten used to it, but I hated it then and I hate it now. Too much rain and my hair becomes a frizz-fest and I don't like to sweat. I enjoy a balance of mild, sunny days (with lower humidity of course) interspersed with cooler, cloudy days. And I, for one, do not get upset if it rains at the weekend on occasion. I love to curl up with a cuppa and a good book on a rainy Saturday morning! I agree with Lynda about Autumn and Spring. |

And I love the bad weather that goes with each of them too!! But I am lucky, where I live we do not have a huge threatof hurricanes or tornados or earthquakes....only on a very very small scale. |

THE STRONG HIGH WILL THEN REMAIN ANCHORED OVER EXACERBATING THE HEAT WAVE WILL BE OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES THAT REMAIN IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S. The silver lining is that we have 325 days of sunshine per year. If it rains the whole time we're in the British Isles next month, Jason, I promise I won't moan. |
