Luckily we all have different birthstones, so it's really lovely. Oh, and our names are engraved on the ring also. It has a white gold band with a row of 10 tiny diamonds and crossing over that at an angle is a yellow gold bit on which is mounted a triangular shaped Alexandrite. I, too, wear it every day. The chinese lady in work, Suzie, gave it to me last year. She bought it on Hong Kong 10 years or so ago.
