Diana Sinclair Posts: 10119 Joined: 3rd Apr 2008 Location: USA	quotePosted at 14:24 on 15th July 2009 Members of a local Judiciary Committee set aside over three hours for an anticipated debate on a controversial transgender nondiscrimination bill that, if passed, will allow transgender people to use public toilets of their choice. Opponents called it a safety issue and said the bill give "an all-access pass to sexual predators" who will take advantage of the bill to use such facilities. We've had these types of discussions before on the POE forum, and I personally think they are getting far too carried away with the "political correctness" B.S. What say you POE members? Would you feel comfortable walking into a public toilet to find a member of the opposite sex using the facilities? How about the safety issue? Do you think it's a legitimate concern?
