Diana Sinclair Posts: 10119 Joined: 3rd Apr 2008 Location: USA	quotePosted at 14:44 on 15th July 2009 Last night at 10:00PM I was out on the streets with many of my neighbors searching for a missing dog. The dog was found safe and sound. Apparently he had gotten into some one's basement and was locked inside. It was nice to see the neighborhood pull together to help this young woman find her lost dog. It got me to thinking about starting a Neighborhood Pet Search Committee. A group of volunteers who can be called on to organize and do a search when a pet goes missing. My head is buzzing with possibilities. We could even have people on the block "register" their pets with the committee and supply a recent picture and details about the pet so that when a pet goes missing we'll have everything we need to get a search underway. I've never heard of such a thing but it seems like a good idea. What do you think POE members? My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions

It's safer! I always checkout any animal I see though, any strays cats etc. I've taken a few in over the last few years, until I have found their homes. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions
