But.....***drum roll***....tomorrow I finish my kitchen job for 6 whole weeks!!! To say I am happy to be out of Hell's Kitchen for that length of time is an understatement! I still have my other job to go to but, it's a doddle, I barely notice I have the job. From the 23rd of August I have 2 weeks off from that too, one of which takes me to NYC!!! GULP...I must remember to make an apointment for my Docs for something to keep me calm on board.... |

Dudley Borough Council said Jeremy Jackson and Jane Steventon's dulcet Black Country tones will now grace its 24-hour Callpay payment phoneline. A council spokesman said: "They are Black Country born and bred." He enjoyed a bit of local celebrity - he was on the local television news and radio and he opened Netherton Fun Day! It was great fun at the time!!! 1000 people entered - couldn't believe it when he won! Edited by: Stephanie Jackson at:22nd July 2009 08:39 |

I'd now love to know what a Black Country accent is like. My only other claim to 5 minutes of fame was an article written about me in the Sunday Express supplement about 10 years ago. My sister was on the t.v. last year. She officially owns the fattest cat in Liverpool. Poor George, he would be on a diet if he was mine. Liverpool has an area called Netherton too. Just a bit of useless information!

So, Georgie porgie is famous in the US eh? I'll have to tell her! George did a diet with the PDSA. He lost a good bit of weight, but, due to my sister's spoiling him (over feeding him) he is bigger than ever! I personally wouldn't do it to an animal. My cats are normal size! Poor George has Arthritis now too! Edited by: Babs ' at:22nd July 2009 19:28 |
