It was an assault, it was 7 o clock in the morning! A group of youths had been up all night drinking taking drugs etc.. and generally been as anti social as they could. The excuse was one had recently been made a father! the guy assaulted was a nice guy, nice partner and couple of young kids, just at the end of his tether! Now bear in mind there wasa lot of police in attendance, but these 'youths' still provoked the guy as he came out the house with us, they were abusive to the police too. Now these 'youths' do this all the time, its known for it round there, they break into houses they smash bottles in the street, mug people assault people etc... you name it! the police are pretty much powerless to do anything, they've all got records, they don't care about the justice system, they do what they want! All their relatives live in the same streets, and are all as bad! they have all been dragged up by idiot parents as were their parents!! where should it end? what should we do to stop it? are you all happy to pay (through you taxes) for these idiots to destroy everything? |

However, the police are NOT powerless; it's the local council that takes away their power. They need to go in, break heads and lock the lot of them up and to hell with the council. |

They would be issued ONE warning ie go home, get off the street, behave etc depending on circumstances followed by if you don't you WILL be SHOT DEAD where you stand, and I would carry it out. They would soon get the message and yes trouble would flare for a short period of time. The parents would then get the same message if they wished to object. We really have got to sort these mindless b......s out! |

They've had a hard life and we need to throw lots and lots of cash at them to make their life better...YOUR cash, that is. |

Ask him why some guy has been arrested beause he assulted a youth who was attacking his stepson, (just one of a gang who are hard in numbers) yet the youth is free. Ask him why all the rights are on the side of the perpetrator and not the victims. Ask him why prison is no detterant, they have t.v.'s and other luxuries given to them in there. Ask him why these scum bags are not made to work, why they live in homes where the parents sit on their backsides watching Jeremy Kyle, rent free, council tax free, have holidays and buy cars! While the rest of us pay for our prescriptions, dental treatment and legal costs, they are handed the lot on a silver platter for free! They commit crimes and get legal aid to help them get away with the actual crime? HUH? Gordon Brown is, as his predecessor was, a total moron who couldn't care about anything expcept his huge income! I'm alright Jack..... My answer is simple but as this is a family site, I shall refrain from posting my thoughts! |

Your all right really i think, something drastic does need to be done to give everything a little order. And like you said Babs, inocent are getting done whilst the guilty 'youths' are getting off! the guy i took in was worried he'd be done for it, because he went out with a stick to tell them to shut up! also he said his windows would be put through whilst in hospital!! I think a lot of these 'yobs' do suffer from lack of guidance, that seems to be the key thing, their parents are as bad, and so are their parents, the trouble is whilst some can be 'helped' and can learn to be good, at what cost must this come? a lot will choose to throw it back in your face, a few will make good honest people, but while its sorted out lots will live miserable lives because of them! they really do seem to just want to hurt everyone around them and pretend they are 'tough guys' when in reality they are uneducated fools. |

Sheesh, I did go on a bit. Sorry, but, I lived under threat for 6 years by yobbo's. Not going to go into it as I don't want to remember it all, but the stress was so bad I was suffering panic attacks and went down to nearly 7 and a half stoines. That's why I get on my soap box about all this. They were allowed to be total B's and nobody cared enough to do anything about them. Some people should not be allowed to breed! The probation officers should try to see things from the viewpoint of a victim, then perhaps they will stop pussy footing around their 'clients'! |
