You get worried Roses..Hurricane Bill drop barometric pressures badly last night, and it's an ways off to be strengthening right now. Should know by tomarrow what it has in mnd. I use to talk to an young gal over on the coast on the east side of Florida many years ago, (Spirit-web) we stayed up all night and talked to her through such an storm..she was about 1/2 mile from the beach itself, but it was scary enough for her. She said she went to evacuate and found her self sitting in line for hours from others up the road evacuating, so she turned around to weather the storm out. She lived in an upper appartment and felt she'd be "Ok" from any water surges. Boarded up her windows and we talked her the entire night.

LOL! This thread reminds me of an Oscar Wilde quote that I just learned last Tuesday from the tour guide as we passed drove by Wilde's birthplace in Dublin:

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Thanks for thinking about me, mates.  Kiss

Bruises healed up by now, right Ron?

All okay now that we know you are both back home safe and sound Ruth. Thanks for looking in on us here in Wheatley, Oxford; and thanks also for the meal (a great ribeye steak David, good suggestion).
