OK, my apologies.  I was trying to upload these pics to a photobucket account to share...but it's not working well tonight, and I'm just a little too tired to figure it out (worked a 12 hour shift...sorry)

I'll work on this, and hopefully have some nice balloon pics and maybe a view of our area to share with everyone in a day or so!

Well, there's my link if anyone wants to go look at my Balloon Fest pics.  MOST of them are this year's, and all but maybe 3 were taken by me.  The ones that weren't are labeled and are rather obviously aerial shots taken from another balloon, but they show our countryside, which I complain about (corn field, bean field, corn field, bean field....)but from the air, it's actually pretty.  And there are a few from last year, when my son crewed for the Pepsi balloon, and got his dad a ride (I ended up in the chase van...fun!)

Shirley, go to Photobucket and make an account, then you just click the "upload" button and it will show you your folders to choose from on your computer, just pick out the pictures you want, and tell it to upload them.  It even had a "bulk" uploader which is nice for more than 2 or 3 pictures.  Then, I just copied and pasted the link.  And, I kept the album public, so everyone here could see it.  You can make a private one, and just give the password to people you want it to go to.

But, to post pictures on here, I don't think you need a photobucket, do you?  You just upload to the site.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.  I used photobucket for this, cause it's off topic.   I, unfortunately, don't have any actual pictures of ENGLAND!!!  one of these days, one of these days.

Thank you, Shirley!  I have tons of balloon pics, this was the 20th year our town has had it, and we've gone to 19 of them.  And you can't NOT take pictures, they're just too wonderful.  I do have some from the air that I took, with my old 35mm, when I went up, it was so much fun.  What a fun hobby ballooning would be, if you could afford it!  We have several pilots in our area, so we do get treated to the random balloon, even when it's not balloon fest time.

Glad you enjoyed them!

Our town, Centralia, IL, has a Balloon Fest every August, this was it's 20th year.  We love it.  I'm happy to say that one of my pictures was chose as the Photo of the Day on the local radio station website!  Of course, it's not too hard to take great pictures of hot air balloons, they're a great subject.

I'd love to take a balloon ride over England some day!  With all that beautiful countryside, it'd be so amazing!
