Last night I had pork chops, teriyaki rice with green benas, yukon gold mashed potatoes, and red and green grapes, rolls, my hubby had some cucumber sticks with fresh sliced garden tomatoes also, we all had an small Reeses miniture peanut butter candy stick...wth coffee for dessert. I made an good dinner last night, because tonight is school orientation..it's pizza afterwards and hubby said something about Thursday is "Eagle Board" for an scout, and Friday is resting some older Ameircan Flags out of service wihich has its ceremony. Entire weekend is "Octoberfest" from Sandy, Oregon through and up to Mt. Hood. You can easily tell school has started now.  have to finish off babysitting this week, but my grandson goes over to Terry's house thereafter...so I can get some, much needed things done around here...she gets him off to kindergarden for half an day.

Today is my husband's birthday, so I'm making shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, spinach salad with strawberries and balsamic vinagrette dressing, and a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting (his pick, he's a little bit of a chocoholic!)

Hope he likes it, because I have to work tomorrow, so it's back to frozen pizza!!

Happy Birthday to your hubby norajean;-))) and can I come over that sounds really good,LOL

Yes, hope the birthday celebration went well Norajean...you can't miss with chocolate you know. We had an huge Papa's Murphy's Chicken and an Hawaiian Pineapple Pizza tonight, take home and bake type. There's times I feel like we cook one dinner for the kids....and one for us.

For some reason, I have my mind on Cassandra Muskgrove tonight...haven't seen her for years now. I was going to include her in an book I was at one time considering writing...dealing with things paranoramal and after-death expereinces...messages. Something she said to me last time we saw each other just seemed to have come through as an "revelation" to me tonight. You know you lay there with things being shown to you like an movie going on in an telepathic way. I think I could of learned an lot from her about who I am and what path I'm on and where I'm going maybe. Strange this should come to me out of the clear though.

I found Branston Pickle relish here. Bought it. The jury is still out. Very different from what we have here!
