weird news 2..It's all about Sports!

In this case...baseball for the time being....

1. Spiderman does what spider man must do..while in the mists of an nightmare about spiders covering him Blue Jays out-fielder Glenallen Hill. tumbled out of bed into an glass table,.. still half alseep he gets up to plunge himself down his stairway..putting him on an 15 day disabled list.

2.Reliever Ricky Bones of the Florida Marlins, went on the disabled list n 2000 after injuring himself while changing channels on the club-house TV....... (it's the all-new 45 different functioning remote maybe..he pushed the "eject" button by mistake?)

 3. Greg Harris, then an reliever of the Texas Rangers, injured his wrist, while flicking sunflower seeds during an 1987 game....... (We wont' even get in to this one)

4. George Brett, of the Kansas city Royals missed 19 games in 1983 after breaking his toe. He was running from the kitchen to the TV to watch friend Bill Buckner hit. ("Home-run....ouch!!!)

5. Chicago Cubs Jose Cardenel missed his game in 1974 because his eye-lid was "stuck open", which prevented him blinking, and two seasons earlier he managed missing an game because of an cricket in his hotel room keeping him awake all night long (must of bugged him, heh?)
