Theres many a boozer will take a dive and never seem the same again without a weekly knees-up. Apparently, Dave has decided to swerve life on the road and hang up his daisies, opting for a quieter life after recently loosing her indoors. Shame really... I guess I will just have to neck half a bitter in his memory. |

Boozer =pub or bar in american Knees-up = dance, sing song. Daisies=daisy roots=boots. Her indoors=wife. His wife died. Neck=drink Half a bitter= Half a pint of Bitter beer. Easy when you know how. Lol It seems that Dave is one of the best Gypsy Caravan rebuilders in the world. He will be spending more time working on them for a while.

Chas and Dave are a celebrity duo from London, well known for singing 'cockney' type songs. Although quite well known across Britain, they prefer to remain 'ordinary' as it were and are quite often found performing in local pubs (bars) where they merrily mingle with customers, staff etc. Chas plays keyboards and Dave plays guitar. Their music is quite lively and fun and most can't help but sing and dance along with it and generally have a good time.

Basically Rabbiting is talking too much. We are sadly losing some of our great Black Country comedians too Toby. I think the Great British characters are on the decline. |
