I haven't done this in a while but I used to have a valentines party for my closest girlfriends. We would have a pot luck dinner, and buy each other valentines cards and token gifts, eat tons of chocolate and watch our favorite romantic movies. We'd laugh and have a grand ole time! |

Talking about an feast..but then $14.95 per dinner is pricey fr an buffest dinner in ways. The casino has one of the largest newest buffet areas I've ever seen...it looks like it curves around for half block. Bet they serve quite an Thanksgiving Dinner, here in Portland the Macy's parade starts off the day downtown Portland, and many of the Christmas Tree lightings are either that night or by Sunday ususally. Stores open up for the Holiday shoppers with special sales at 3 am. Krissy is correct everyone goes "Nuts" with football or else run up to Mt. Hood to see how much snow is on the ground. It's the start of the holiday for the most part, and everyone is excited....Even "Pac-man", rember that earlie computer game, him and his group did an "cartoon show" one year, and I have the music tape from it, was one of my son's favorites as he was 7 months old that year on Dec 24th. It was called "The magic of Christmas"...somethnig to the tune of "it' s the "magic" of Christmas for you an me"..then talks about the different toys and lights and things out and about. that leave an little kid in awe. My son was given an football outfit in "green" by Art Chinello, whom had just came up and opened up th efirst pizza parlor in the area, by high school we were into an different area and my son wore Blue and Gold...it's in th epictures I sent to Ron last week. I played off an on this time for nearly for free at the Casino because I was winning, but I guess I should of walked away, because I came out of it with nothing for it, but spending some added dollars, but not to many though...less $10. It was leasiurely and I enjoyed it myself..couldn' tsleep that night though, things spinning in my head for some reason. We were on the 5th floor up and overlooking the main enterence, and the morning sun came in the window and the moon we could see that night, and the logo of this thing is an coyote, and it's backgrounded running in turquiose lights, looked just like it was running for the moon outisde there an bit. Nice decor. we had separate beds...first time for that but I wasn't feeling well and he's getting ready for surgery coming up here soon. It was nice to have the whole middle of an bed. Huge bathroom also. I seeing this glass wall said "Teardrop Lounge", but I never saw an door to it. I can't drink anyway, but curosity gets the best of me.Well, we went back later in the evening and here that wall was pushed out sligthly to make an doorway, and the wall it's-self was animated dropping rain drops...I could see inside of it, to an wall to wall.. ceiling to floor video of "musicians" playing on stage and an long bar on one end..what else it had I don't know...most liley an dance foor of soem kind though. We went on up to our room. The place is so big that they have electric car shuttles come through with seats on each side being back to back to pick you up so you don't have to walk so far...and that came in so handy this morning when I had to go to the bathroom!!!! He says where would you like me to stop, I said.."ladies room", closet one to the playing floor. My hubby parked me over by the poker tables on an machine as they had another ceiling to floor screen with his Cardinals Baseball Playoff games going on, he grabbed an drink as they went by stood near by me, and would occasionally say...how you doin?.. as he watched the game (he's from MIssouri)..I noticed the guys at the poker tables weren't husseling to fast...to watch the game on the screen also. They had it on all over inside the casino on about every screen you saw. Boys will be boys.. Ladies, and so will men... be boys .. too..heh? |
