I just kept my plants in the pots they were in, so its not so bad an job, basically just lifting them up, but I need an scoop of barkdust so as I can bury this stuff in it over winter. I use to keep annuals sometimes as long as 7 years time...especially gerianiums. I just rim them back an bit, cover them with bark in case it freezes and cover the whole works with weight down clear plastic in an mound. Then come spring replant them and use the bark dust around them as they come back to growing again. Poor garden this year fo rth eexpense, this makes about year 10 I think. I have lost money in having an garden. Bu tth eproduce is to expensive I can't afford to buy the stuff already grown either. Something seriously wrong here.

I just picked up my grand-daughter temp of 102 degrees from school. Whom just called me on her cell from the other end of the house in her bedroom, she wants ice cream. Told her she'd have to wait until grandpa came home with the boys on early release from school today and here also...just came through the door an bit ago. I told them not to bother, just let her sleep it off.

Jason some guy killed himself not to far away from where I live, he rolled his car, and I find that so hard to beleive on an four lane flat street...no  middle of the road dividers either. They showed bits and pieces of the car scattered all about, and all I can see he would of maybe hit is an small curb on the side of the road..wonder what the real story is...esp to tear an car apart like that.

Sue ...storm kind of missed us also, we got an few bands coming up from the south but not the the cyclone winds some had said and the heavy rain. As far as I can see the bulk of it headed off toward Idaho.

Talking about wetting your pants, I started taking some Vit D...and yesterday, I could of set in the bathroom all day long for the water release going on. Let's see, Joan Collins, actress, says her office is in her bathroom, (it's huge) as she has mirrors along the side of it, and she feels if she has to look at herself nearly naked, she's more diet conscious. If I had to look at myself naked...I'd probably run an hideI hope this water thing eases up here in an bit. It's an cough, dribble, its an sneeze, dribble, I can't seem to change my clothing enough. My daughter in-law is currently on anti-biotics for an sinus/allergy cold. She's been coming home and asking to go to bed for the evening over even eating dinner..she's to thin in my estimation...mostly because she's farily tall person...but so is my son. It's very hard for us as an family any more to have an sit down dinner together..because of diet or events going on.

Hi Shirley,

I call curbs  'car tippers'!! honestly, it seems its always the small curb that tips them over! if they're going fast enough it just flips them over and over and over, the other thing is the fire service over here are obsessed with chopping up cars!! we regulary get them to chop the roof off to allow access, and get the patient out easier, so this can make the RTC look horrific, when really the car wouldn't look to bad if it wasn't for the fire service hacking it up! but having said that, new cars tend to crumple up badly, to absorb the energy!
