I wish I didn't procrastinate! I wish I could spell better! I wish I didn't have to wear glasses or contacts! I wish I wasn't so emotional! I wish I had longer legs! |

There are things that one learns as one get older that if you had known it when you were younger would have made a world of difference to the choices you made. When you are twenty or even thirty you think in indefinite terms (i.e., you think you have forever to have a family or start a career) but when you're close to fifty you realize that even if you live to be eighty it's too late to do anything with much of what you have learned. This realization more than anything convinces me that God must have an eternal plan that involves our continued growth and spiritual ascension. It simply can't be that all we learn here dies here. |

If we changed all the seemingly bad things about ourselves, would we be ourselves anymore? I think we have to take the good with the bad. But the REALLY bad we should try and change. |

Long hair instead of short...blonde instead of brown? Blue eyes instead of green? To be athletic instead of clumsy? Four arms instead of two?? *shrugs* I'm just kidding now!! |

I also don't like to see my hands looking old. The skin is definitely getting thinner, and because I see my hands almost all the time, as opposed to having to force myself to look in a mirror to see my face, I think I'd say I would change my hands back to those nice, smooth, supple ones I used to have. |
