Some of the the first I remember though were Away in the Manger, and that was very emotional to me to think Jesus didn't have an crib for his head..but I can rember when the wicked witch of the west in Land of Oz just absoutely terrified me. .But there was also Silver Bels, Silent night. I'm dreaming of an White Christmas, Oh Holy NIght, but I liked some of the modern ones also Mary's Boy Child, Amy Grants "Be with me now". I can related to that song, when I had my son, I was pretty much by myself. There's just all kinds of song I like now. Country western included...such as "An Tenneesse Christmas". We also have the littel kiddie ones, like Jingle Bells, and little Susie Snowflake..and of course. Grandma got ran over by an reindeer. And the new orchastra winter albums are good ones..and I use to try to play on an organ, Ava Maria and some of the Tiquana Brass songs on their album, had jazzy hispanic type beats. The Veinna boys chior puts out an good album also, and I bought an Celtic Album last year, I don't think I ever got around to listening to for lack of time. I use to tease one of my single girlfriends about going to to many Chirstmas parties that she wanted to go Wasiling, and not weaseling with what she ended up with... That would get an sofa pillow thrown at you! LOL |

Christmas is a 'family occasion' with stary-eyed children anicipatiing what Christmas will bring to them. Even if you are not convinced of the religious side as you get older, the magic must remain, the love for your fellows, the memories of Christmas's in your past and the friends and relations you enjoyed them with that are no longer with you. It can be a sad time for some but its still worth saving, that includes Christmas Carols and 'Dickens-like' Christmas scenes of a positive message Merry Christmas, world, and I hope you can be with your loved ones this year. |
