That it's illegal to feed ducks on a Sunday in Massachusetts between 05:00 and Noon?

But why? Well that's another question...

Lol. No, I didn't know that one, Ron. But I do know of a couple of other laws that are still on the books, including:

Snoring is prohibited unless all bedroom windows are closed and securely locked.

It is illegal for a woman to be on top in sexual activities. (Lol! Who's looking? That's what I want to know!)

I am dead dog serious. Both of those are still active laws on the books in Massachusetts. Lol.

It's also still on the books that a native American may not come within the city limits of Boston proper.

It's illegal because it was intended that between those hours, any righteous person, would be preparing to go to church OR was already there. After 1pm, was 'family time' and that allowed for things such as a walk to the park etc and feeding the duck/birds then, would be proper. How times change.

As you say Beth, how times change! Does anybody still go to Church on a Sunday here? Very different to America.

I disagree, Diana.  I know tons of people from many different denominations who go to church on Sunday, while, from what I hear, the churches in England are relatively empty.  How I wish I could go and worship in one of those adorable little churches that we just drool over on this website.

When we were in England 2 years ago, we went to Mass in Salisbury and Whitby, and this last trip, in Wimborne Minster.  All the Masses we went to were SRO.
