I simply won't give an gift to someone because they gave me one, unless I want to do so. It reminds of me of my first job and my first company Christmas party and I asked my co-worker what she was giving, as we had to bring an same gender gift to exchange back then, and she said, I brought back my gift I got last year, an set of hankies..and we went on, after the party I asked her what she got, and she said would you beleive, my own hankies back..we had an good laugh over that, but it made the subject clear about gift giving..I guess. I have my BBQ primed up this year, I'd love your piece of coal to add to my other Brickets Jason...no problem at all....you got an fireplace? maybe we could exchange an piece of wood. I have some small sticks, how good can you whittle wood? Maybe an quick whistle for one of the little scouts? I was reading the other day that the Mormon church (Latter-Day Saints) supports 50 per cent of "Scouting" in the western states in some way now. I know they have our district meetings at their larger church close by.. Portland/Metro area has some 350,000 Boy Scouts. Just think, it all started in England too! |
