You best keep the humor going on, bu tI think we need to know about the first issue world-wide for our own safety..... today''s newspaper.....all three articles

1. Lima, Peru...Gang kills people for fat, police say. Five people were recently taken into custody along iwth an vat of human fat and an severed head by police..with 60 missing people this year in the area in general in Hurantoco Providence. Three suspects have confessed to killing people for their fat, associated with the black market drug trafficking cartels...are said to be selling the fat at $60,000 an gallon to the European cosmetic Industry..it is used in anti-wrinkle treatments. While there are descrepencies in the story among the professiosnals in the useage and sales..they claim this has been going on in the jungles of Peru for more then three decades. Police say this is not the only gang dealing in this apparently..the news clips gives the name and age of those arrested. The 29 year old victim they recently kiilled also.  (This wouldn't be so funnny if my sister in-law's son wasn't married to an "ex" peruvian school teacher..he's in the military and has been for some time now). There' s something very mentally "sick" about an society that would have this going on.

2. Two people headed home over near Willow creek east of Lincoln, city, Oregon see skid marks off an bridge, that look fresh, they investigate to find out there's an Ford Explorer upside down sinking into the creek ..they immmediately get out and he goes into the creek as they hear children screaming..she calls 911 emergency...as the call goes out the neighbor living on the other end of the bridge hears the call, and rushes out the door with his older daughter, and an kniffe to help also...between the men in the creek cutting the seat belts to free the kids and handing them to the women, they catch the mother floating out of the window they had broken, and she yells there's three of them, the baby they find under the water in the front seat...blue an un-responsive, they performed CPR on it, as the emergency vehicles arrived at the scene...the baby was taken to Portland's Dornbecker Hopsital and is in critcal condition...an herioc and daring rescue for this family, they probably would haved died if th epeople hadn' tresponded as none of them could get out of their seat belts without help...it was sadden as the last line said of the mother..she was very very intoxicated at the time of the accident apparently.

Last..front page...Cop on leave for use of force..in this case there apparently was an huge party of teens and as they left police had been called in and they scattered, where upon they see one so called 12 year old girl try to get on the local tri-met system that they knew had been denied the serivce... for having stollen someone's purse earlier. The tranist mall policeman goes after her to get her off the train when another cop by the name of Humphry shows up...this gal is 150 pounds, and is 5 foot 7 and is 12 years old.  The tranist authority goes after her and she starts agressively kicking and defending herself. They are both on the ground fighting it out when the cop shows up and says to stop and detest fighting, or he'd shoot this bean-bag gun, he did,  and she stopped immediately...leaving her with an nasty bruise in the thigh. They took her to the detention center until they could call her mother. It was all caught on video. Problem here is this is not the first time this officer has been in an arrest using force which may not of had to been used. Two grown guys vs an 12 year old girl? The Portland Mental Hosptial team doesn' t like his aggressive tactics, in which last month he was in one.. where the arrested died from his actions. The commissioner is asking for an review of procedures. The police union representative and about 40 other officers are saying that he was in his "rights" for doing such, as he had warned her in advance, she could of stopped fighting them. But many are saying people are dying...because the police are so brutal in their arresting others...rather they fight or not, in rather they know what they are doing at the time of the arrest....they are getting zapped with things that kill. An drunk fighing back can be hard to apprehend. The picture they show of this girl it makes you wonder if he was trying to get her to stop, or was trying to forcfully hold her down against her will unnecessarily when the cop got involved. As she had been "partying" also previously... You never know what the guys these days have in mind either if they think no one is looking.  I put it in "scumbag award", for just general information of an situation that "came to an head" with the girl. The union is saying that authorties want this cop removed, just because this is his third incident of using something an bit more powerful then is possibly warranted in action...the police say they have to be able to defend themselves and not be victims themselves in the arrests. My question here is..when does two wrongs make an right? ..if not more. Something appears wrong in the police Dept...but which side is it wrong...maybe both?

I am fat, I am well aware of discrimination against fat people these days, and Boeing and the car companies are two high on the list for years on end..but to be butchered and your fat sold so  ladies can be wrinkle-free is just palin blasmey to God for humanity...I dont' care if these people sit in an Catholic church "praying" until the world comes to an end..they are wrong!  Would you want your grandpa murdered so aunty Betsey can be "wrinke free" at an advanced age...how gross and dumb can the world be....dont' answer that one!  If any of these stories are not true..then they should of never been printed, if they are, it looks like some improvement needs to be done.

Don't know why you'd want a report on Diana's back, but I certainly hope there's nothing amiss we don't know about. Smile
