I know that you all over on the other side of the pond do not celebrate Thanksgiving but thought it would be fun to just say "what you are Thankful for"? Sometimes it just does us good to remember the little things that we should be thankful for that we sometimes forget about:))

1).I have many but to start with I am so thankful that I found a great and wonderful family with POE friends:)

2) That i have had and continue to have a wonderful and loving husband for 25 years.

theres more but I will let someone else go.............

1) My wonderful husband and beautiful children as well as my lovely  sister and fantastic Mom.

2) Being lucky enough to have great friends both here at my POE family and elsewhere in my life.

3) For having enough money to keep us all safe, warm, housed and fed.

I am most thankful for my Heavenly Father who looks after me even when I forget to ask for help. Who loves me unconditionally no matter how bad I screw up.

I am also extremely thankful to have the love of a wonderful, thoughtful and caring gentleman with whom I look forward to spending the rest of my life with.

I am thankful for my mom who has been calling me just about everyday to make sure I am okay. She has done so much for me lately. I love her so much.

I am thankful for my beautiful daughter, even if she does cause a lot of grief I know it is not intentional.

I am thankful for my POE family and all of my friends, for their love and support especially during such trying times.

You all have pretty much covered my list.

It's all about people isn't it?

Friends I think, and being able to live your life daily in fairly comfortable circumstances. If you think things are bad for you, there's always someone out there that may be an lot worse off.  I thought Thanksgiving was for celebrating the bounty of the pervious year's growing season...and perhaps having enough put aside to make it to the next growing season and for that we thanked God.  We thanked God for just being "alive" and well another year. Sometimes I think we take this all for granted these days. Having apples at your finger touch, and meat at the grocers all prepared, and having frozen and canned food these days, and fresh throughout winter these days...and I'm old enough I remember when what kind of winter you had depended on how well you prepared for it in summer and fall, by your canning and drying and freezing things...but we should stilll be thankful for this even today and the abundance of it to share with friends and family.
