Yeah Stephanie, you know when an lot of our neighbors that were "new" moved into this area, they were willing to help make things "happen", but the city discouraged them because they had to do things the way they wanted and pick up the tab...no one wants to do things that way. Especialy when they had to start with all the money going into nob hill area and not the citizens emass. So the people moved and left pretty much. The city is very divided now. The newest golf cours is one "pocket" the downtown section another "Pocket" and area they annexed onto is "hispanic" and they should of never annexed it until they could fix the hispanic areas here in town, bu tits an "pocket"  my area is now the shoping area, it's an "pocket"...another part is an "retiree" pocket...and the rest is "Kids" and sports and schools "pocket"...but they are intergraded much. They have one parade yearly...its an teddy bear parade of little kids. Which kind of leave you out once you rkids are grown. I can't really say I classify the area as an town over "pockets" of little special interests and communities. People move ot the country because they want the country serenity and open spaces..but the land developers make everything into the city again by the time they get done. Houses stacked up on top of one another. Creeks pipped in and dirt over them...etc. Looks "dead" also because you can' t just do anything any more without lots red tape permits and regulations...tha talone nearly takes the funding for the event. Yet they say, help us, give us your ideas, but they dont' really mean it, they mean..pay for what we want done. So it is, they have earned some of this they bring on themselves.

They are NOT intergrated much...typo....as far as I see the only thing everyone has in common is never wearing coats no matter how bad the weather is any more...perhaps an California "pocket" influence?
