The new cat I thought my sister got was a Christmas present for me! She told me he was hers to see if he and I would "bond" and boy did we. :-)

She also loves cats and was prepared to keep him if it didn't work out. She brought him to me yesterday and told me originally she was going to wait till Christmas but seeing that I was spending more time at her house than she was, she decided I should get him early. Lol.Knowing my financial situation right now, both of my sisters (as part of the Christmas package) have said they will take care of any unexpected medical expenses, should he incur them.

His name is Salem, he is 18 months old, he has been neutered, has had all of his shots, and even has a microchip implant with his ID info which has been registered with the local vets and authorities. He is completely black with long fur and yellow eyes; looks just like Merlin only about 1/3 of the weight. Lol.

He's a little lover and as affectionate as can be when he's not hiding under the bed; which he is right now. Lol. He's adjusting to his new surroundings, but as soon as he settles down and comes out of hiding I'll get pictures and post them for my POE friends to see.

Thank you all for sharing in my joy! :-)

Sue, I love the little kitty emoticon! How adorable.

Salem came out of hiding last night on his own and went bonkers! He was jumping all over the place and playing with his toys, and yes, he's discovered the Christmas tree! I had to build a barricade of presents to ward off his attacks. Lol.
