Holiday recovery is well under way!!!

We took the tree down yesterday, and started putting some things away,and re-arranging other things, kids didn't get home until the wee hours from their friends house, so it's been slow going around the house here today. I'll start reading books off an on here pretty soon again. I have some to finish and some to start. I feel "Over" holiday celebrated for some reason. When I bought my kids an gift certificate, I bought my sister in-law one and got an "free" dinner for my hubby's birthday and since then have read there is an massive beef recall for an leathal strain of e-coli in beef in the west coast and mid-west areas..the large chain restruants. So we decided to wait if off for an bit, like maybe Valentine's Day...though our anniversay is the same week.  In our younger years when we didnt' have the best of refrigeration....we had better food care.... then we do now apparently....
