16 is too high a cut off age. I left school at 15, flew to the states at 16. It would have been tough going had I not been allowed to go to the toilet because I was on my own     .

I think most kids over the age of 13 are pretty street wise, which helps to a certain degree. But the evil still exists, no matter the age, we just have to be prepared as much as we can.

this is easily resolved with the new toliets they came out with, they are one person enters into one stall at a time...there are several stalls, and they are unisex...but no one can go in with you unless you are an small kid with his parent..they are also private, but not so private if you screamed someone couldn't hear you.. some guy here made an luxurious rendition of this for the city and those city's worldwide that wanted an modern and safer city toliet for its patrons during public events. I never cared, I took my young son with me into the ladies bathroom, I didn't care what others said, safety came first...or I waited until his dad was with us to take him places. Just the way it was.
